Summer practice

IBE students have passed the annual summer practice in such companies as Ernst & Young, Motorola, Marriott Inc., Sony, Samsung, Pepsi Bottling Group, VOLVO, METRO Cash & Carry, Young & Rubicam, Philip Morris, Chipita, BP, American Express, Kelly Services, Sun Interbrew, Henkel, etc.

On the summer 3-rd year students take an educational practice for the period of 2 months. In the end of 4-th year— on an industrial (predegree) practice of the same duration. In most cases (70–80 %) graduates are invited to work upon termination of high school the companies in which they passed practice.

Besides about half of students are defined with a place of work, yet not having finished studying in IBE, but only having finished an educational practice. Annually the GRANT on training under program MBA at University of Tulsa (Oklahoma, USA) is given to one of the best IBE graduates.

More than five hundred graduates who have ended Institute in different years, already had time to prove as highly skilled experts, working in the Russian and foreign international companies.

In 2007 after summer exam session IBE 3-year students started to work for international and domestic companies. Some examples:

• British Petroleum (Larchikova L., Politanskaya A., Soldatenkova J., Yartsev D., and Tarasova V. in HR, marketing and HSSE departaments);
• VOLVO (Zuyev A., Storozhevykh A., Romashkina L. in marketing department);
• Marriott International, Inc. (Novikov M. in financial department);
• Deloitte Touche (Kozelko O. in Tax&Legal department);
• Bank Russian Standart (Gubanova A. in financial department).

All of students had very good results. During internship students have applied theoretical knowledge into real practice. Some of students got an open date job offer for the next year.
